DOZENS of security flaws have been discovered and fixed for more than 30 Samsung phones. Of the 29 cyber gaps that have now been plugged, there were five "critical" vulnerabilities. Samsung has not revealed any details about the "critical" vulnerabilities. Samsung's January 2025 update, titled S90xBXXSDEXL1, also patches several high-level vulnerabilities affecting the Sound Picker, Samsung Messages, Notification Manager, and Bootloader.

The monthly update is currently being rolled out slowly to all eligible devices. Some 34 Samsung devices have been given the patch so far, with more expected to receive it in the coming weeks.
