The romance between former Love Islanders Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page may be over, but Andrew has been left with a permanent reminder of their relationship. The couple have reportedly split following Tasha’s appearance on Strictly Come Dancing at the end of last year, with Tasha now heading out on the Strictly live tour as a “single woman.” However, Andrew has a tribute to his former girlfriend that he won’t be able to get rid of easily now their relationship is over, as it is a tattoo he had inked in 2022 to show his love for her.
Andrew got a tattoo that showed a hand signing ‘I love you’ in British Sign Language and holding Tasha’s cochlear implant, in tribute to her. She made Love Island history in 2022 when she became the ITV2 show’s first deaf contestant and wore her cochlear implant on screen during her time in the villa.
In October 2022, Tasha took to Twitter, now known as X, to share a snap of her then-boyfriend's new tattoo, and proudly told her followers: "So Andrew came home and surprised me with his new tattoo, I actually can’t even!!!!!!! How beautiful it’s 'ily' in BSL with my cochlear implant wrapped around.".
She went on to explain: "Also just to clarify * the ily is ASL but it is also used in BSL as it became more used - there is another way to sign ily in BSL which is what me and my dad did to each other when he came into the villa. But both can be used in bsl as I know both.".
