Cleveland Browns superstar Myles Garrett was left screaming in agony after suffering a scary eye injury against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The defensive end was up against Joe Thuney during the first half in Ohio when he appears to have inadvertently been poked in the eye.

In worrying scenes, Garrett can be seen ripping his helmet off in pain, before slamming it down onto the turf and then dropping to his knees himself. Patrick Mahomes quickly comes over and frantically gestures for medics to rush to Garrett's aid, before he is tended to on the field.

Shortly after, he walked away with his towel over his head and was officially listed as questionable to return with an eye injury. As he was walking off the field, Thuney can be seen apologizing to the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year. Myles Garrett takes a hand to the face as he comes up against Chiefs guard Joe Thuney.

Garrett is perhaps the Browns' star man, having been a First Team All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler during his career.

On Sunday, though, he had his work cut out against the Chiefs offense, who quickly went two scores up in Cleveland. Noah Gray and JuJu Smith-Schuster were the Chiefs touchdown scorers, and the absence of Garrett in the backfield makes the Browns' tough task just that little bit more difficult.
