A mystery thriller starring Nicole Kidman has been brought back to the public's attention after being snapped up by a streaming giant. The film from 2007, which also stars Daniel Craig, was hailed as a "10/10" movie by some online users who were delighted to see it making its return. Fans shared their glee on social media after it was revealed Amazon Prime is currently airing the movie for free to subscribers.
In a short clip shared online, captioned: “If you show any emotion, you die," Kidman's character is seen looking emotionless as she walks down the street. Her lack of emotion comes despite witnessing a screaming woman being thrown into a police car.
Another cop then turns to her and warns her: "You’re sweating. They don’t do that, they’ll know. Now go away from here.". The film called The Invasion follows Kidman's character, psychiatrist Carol Bennell, Craig as pal Dr Ben Driscoll, and Jeffrey Wright as a researcher. According to IMDB: "A Washington, D.C. psychiatrist unearths the origin of an alien epidemic. She also discovers her son might be the only way it can be stopped.".
Sharing their delight on Twitter/X, one user wrote: "Because I loved The Invasion of the Body Snatchers from 1956 I never expected to love this movie, which is a reboot, so much. Nicole Kidman was fantastic in this.". Another added: "One of my favourite Nicole Kidman movies," while a third gushed: "OMG This was one of my unforgettable movies when I was young.".
