Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa left City in sixth place in the Premier League. The reigning champions are nine points behind leaders Liverpool, who have two games in hand.

The club are on an almost unbelievable run of just one win in 12 matches but the party still went ahead as planned. The likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan appeared to enjoy the occasion with their partners posting black and white pictures on Instagram.
