Gavin and Stacey fans still mourning the loss of the BBC show can try and console themselves by winning a piece of memorabilia. The sitcom ended on Christmas Day with millions of viewers tuning in to watch Smithy (James Corden) and Nessa (Ruth Jones) finally sail off into the sunset.
And now they can get their hands on Gavin and Stacey’s last-ever episode’s script signed by cast members, including the likes of Joanna Page and Mathew Horne. Robert Wilfort, who plays Stacey’s brother Jason West in the show, has donated his script to a charity raffle in his hometown of Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
All of the funds raised in the raffle will be donated to The Theatre Shed, an inclusive theatre company bringing disabled and non-disabled children together through singing, dancing and acting, according to the BBC. As the Gavin and Stacey finale was such a hit – raking in 12.3 million viewers on the day, making it among the most watched shows this century,streamers – TV bosses are reportedly keen for a spin-off.
