Millwall want to make Brentford centre-back Tristan Crama their second signing of the January transfer window. The Bees centre-back, 23, has impressed in League One with Exeter City this season after heading out on loan in the summer. His imperious form has alerted the Lions, who were in the market for another defender this month. And Mirror Football understands talks over a deal to bring the Frenchman to The Den are progressing.

Crama has made 26 appearances for the Grecians in all competitions this term, scoring four goals. But his loan spell was officially cut short by the Bees on Thursday morning in lieu of Millwall's interest in pursuing a permanent switch. The towering centre-back joined Brentford's development squad back in 2020 from French outfit Beziers. He has not made a senior appearance for Brentford but spent last season on loan with Bristol Rovers.

If all goes to plan, Crama will become Millwall's second signing of the January transfer window after former Brighton forward Aaron Connolly put pen to paper on a short-term deal on Thursday morning. The 24-year-old signed for Sunderland back in September but made just 10 appearances for the Black Cats, who agreed to mutually terminate Connolly's deal in order for him to move back down south.

Connolly will fill the void left by experienced frontman Tom Bradshaw, who we revealed would be joining Oxford United earlier this week. The 32-year-old Wales striker, who was due to be a free agent in the summer, has completed his move to the Kassam Stadium for an undisclosed fee to link up with former Lions boss Gary Rowett.
