There has always been a buzz around the beauty secrets of royalty, and over time, some of Princess Diana's rumoured preferred products have been speculated about. Interestingly, many of her supposed favoured items are still on the market years after her passing.

One such treasure is By Terry's Baume De Rose lip balm which garners adoration from stars and make-up professionals alike. This beauty gem was reputedly part of the skin prep routine of the make-up artist of the late Princess, Mary Greenwell. In an interview with Grazia, Mary revealed, "When Princess Diana was young she had the most beautiful skin. She maintained that always.".

Mary would use this luxurious balm to ensure Princess Diana's lips were perfectly primed during make-up application. In a YouTube video feature with celebrated make-up guru Lisa Eldridge, Mary named Baume De Rose as central to achieving Princess Diana's iconic fresh look, classing it as an absolute "must have".

While the balm carries a royal price tag of £42, thrifty beauty fans can opt for the By Terry Baume de Rose Le Stick Levres Lip Crayon instead. At £28, the stick version is easier to apply and won't put quite as much of a dent in your wallet, reports OK!.

This convenient crayon boasts the same ultra-nourishing ingredients as the pot – specifically shea butter, rose flower essential wax and vitamin E – to help restore hydration to parched lips and smooth any flaky skin. It also serves as a fantastic base for lipstick.
