When Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed a cinematographer on set of his movie Rust, the horrific incident cast a dark shadow over the actor, leaving many to wonder if it would be the end of his career or if he'd be able to make a comeback. The shooting and the events that followed - which included an intense police investigation, an involuntary manslaughter charge, and a highly-publicized trial that ultimately ended in the case being dismissed - was the latest in a long list of scandals to plague the 30 Rock star.

Alec's decades-long career has been continuously rocked by public brawls and outbursts, accusations of a homophobic slur, alcohol and drug use, and multiple run-ins with the law. At first, the Rust shooting seemed like it might have been the final blow for the former Hollywood leading man, who, when asked in the aftermath if his career was 'over,' replied, 'It could be.'.

But months after the charges against him were dropped, it seems like the star, now 66, has no intention of retiring from showbusiness, but rather, he is now preparing to take on what may arguably be his most public move yet: a reality show. The actor announced last June that he would be starring in a new TLC series in 2025 that would showcase his day-to-day life with his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, and their seven children.

It's a surprising turn of events for someone who has shared his disdain for cameras and 'public life' on numerous occasions. Alec was first skyrocketed into the spotlight in 1988 after he starred in Tim Burton's beloved film Beetlejuice, and he quickly cemented himself as a major star, landing roles in top films throughout the 1990s and earning a slew of awards for his work.
