Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) isn’t making a whole heap of friends in Emmerdale, and certainly not one of Ross Barton (Mike Parr). These two have history and Ross has a reason to want to see Joe suffer, having taken a face-full of acid on his behalf a few years ago, leaving him permanently scarred. When Joe first returned to the village and started sniffing around younger brother Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), Charity (Emma Atkins) enlisted Ross’ help to scare Joe off.
