A CHEEKY Scottish Premiership star called for his manager to be SACKED when he was spotted making a surprise appearance at the Premier League darts. A number of footballers were in attendance at the bash at the OVO Hydro including St Johnstone's former Rangers star Nicky Clark and Celtic hero Arne Engels. But one man who went even further than that was St Mirren goalkeeper Zach Hemming, who livened up his evening by holding a handwritten 'Robbo Out!!' sign at the camera.

That's a lighthearted swipe at his gaffer Stephen Robinson, who has performed miracles with the Paisley side in recent seasons. Hemming, 24, was a big part of the side which finished fifth last season, making 33 appearances on a loan spell from Middlesbrough. While he spent the first half of this season at League One side Leyton Orient, he returned to his parent club on 1 January with manager Robinson keen to make the deal permanent.

Robinson said at the time: "He was very successful last season and we will be in discussions with Middlesbrough as we look at the potential of making it permanent at the end of the season.". There was no shortage of drama on the night with World Champion Luke Litter on the brink of DEFEAT at the quarter-final stage as he found himself 5-1 down to 2018 world champion Rob Cross. But the 18-year-old arrows sensation fought back to win and in the semi-final he beat Michael van Gerwen 6-2 in a rematch of their World Championship final clash.
That set up another match up between world number one Humphries and number two Littler - and it was Littler who pocketed the £10,000 prize with a little help from an 170 finish. Littler remarked on the standard of play in the final between him and Humphries: "It was a weird final. "We both weren't playing well. "Now and again I look up at the screen and we're on a 90 average. The crowd got involved.".
