Sir Rod Stewart has given two hilarious interviews ahead of Celtic's crunch Champions League clash with Bayern Munich as the star admitted: 'I've had a couple of drinks.'. The legendary singer-songwriter, 80, made a surprise appearances on TNT Sports and CBS Sports prior to his beloved team's knockout play-off first leg at Celtic Park. Stewart left the CBS panel of Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards, Thierry Henry and presenter Kate Scott in stitches as he repeatedly told the stadium announcer to 'shut up', referred to Peter Schmeichel as 'Gordon Banks' and called Richards 'big knees' instead of his 'Big Meeks' nickname.

A hilarious moment came 90 seconds into the interview as Stewart asked Schmeichel how he was doing after speaking about being a Celtic fan. 'I've had a couple,' he told Schmeichel, which was met with laughter from the CBS studio. Stewart later jokingly said: 'You better get me off the air now. I'm embarrassing myself.'.
