Three decades after they first got together, the Spice Girls are helping other music Wannabes – on TV in South Korea. I can reveal Emma Bunton and Mel B secretly flew to Seoul in November to take part in a reality show where they sang with K-pop idols. The series called Kpopped, which is expected to air later this year, will feature a different Western act in each of the eight episodes, collaborating with big names from the world of K-pop to re-imagine one of their biggest hits.

I personally feel like the Spice Girls back catalogue is already top tier, so I’m not sure turning any of them into a high-octane banger will do many favours. One of the other big names taking part will be Eighties legend Boy George, so they are clearly pushing the boat out when it comes to star power.
