Johannes Radebe, the beloved Strictly Come Dancing pro-dancer, has been showered with love and support as he updated his fans on life beyond the show's glitzy ballroom. Fans will remember Johannes's participation in the recent series of the BBC One dance contest with partner Montell Douglas. In Strictly's milestone 20th series, they became the tenth couple to be eliminated, narrowly missing out on a position in the semi-final.

Although they sparkled together during a group performance in December's grand final, that was their final twirl in the Strictly spotlight, as Johannes couldn't join the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour with Montell. Montell has since been thrilling audiences nationwide, dancing in the live shows alongside another Strictly professional, Kai Widdrington. The pro-dancer, unable to partake due to other commitments, is busy gearing up for his theatrical lead in the touring spectacle, Kinky Boots, where he'll be the fabulous Lola, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Weeks after stepping into Lola's shoes in the West End, the 37-year-old offered fans a glimpse into his new adventure. Posting snapshots of Manchester's Palace Theatre on Instagram, as the show hops from Leicester, Johannes opened up. Johannes mused: "All consuming but there's no place I'd rather be, when on stage the rest of the world disappears. I am in my favourite place with the BEST people and an audience who is excited to be there.".

He added: "How can I need for anything? All that troubles the heart melts away under those lights...I'm one happy man at the moment. Thank you all for coming out in numbers...Oh hello Manchester, let's get Kinky.". The performer's update was met with a deluge of adoring comments. One fan commented: "Always bringing joy all around the uk and we couldn't be more grateful! ! can't wait to see you in Glasgow next week.".

Another shared their anticipation: "Aww @johannesradebe, looking forward to seeing you in May." Further praise came from a third, who recounted: "Saw the show in Leicester. Absolutely amazing we had a fabulous time. Lola.". A fourth penned: "The most incredible show! We saw you on opening night and you and the rest of the cast were a dream! Good luck with the rest of the tour." While a fifth couldn't hide her excitement: "You were everything i expected and more at woking. Loved every single minute.".
