Strictly's Kai Widdrington distracts fans with 'new look' as he heads on live tour

Strictly Come Dancing's Kai Widdrington is causing quite the stir amongst fans who are loving his 'new look' while he travels across the country in the Strictly Live 2025 tour. Despite not having a celeb partner in the 2024 series to the dismay of dedicated BBC One show enthusiasts, Kai is now shining in the limelight as he teams up with Gladiators celeb Montell Douglas for the live shows.
He is filling the dancing shoes of Montell's original partner Johannes Radebe, who's currently busy with his debut theatre gig. Despite, this many people on Instagram have taken to the platform to comment on the new parternship with user @rachelhutchinson1995 posting: "So here for this partnership! Roll on 31st Jan." And @auroralynneart gushing: "Getting to dance with both Jojo and Kai, what a dream.".
Meanwhile, @joannagoody expressed eagerly: "So excited for this partnership! ! I cannot wait to see you back on tour" and @fanny_lane52 cheered: "Oh yes! ! ! ! ! And excited to see you back on tour. Will miss JoJo too." (sic). Kai and Montell, clearly enjoying their collaboration, hit the stage with Kai celebrating the start of the tour with an exuberant Instagram snap and the caption: "ITS SHOWTIME ! ! ! ! ! @strictlycomedancinglive." (sic).
The Strictly Live social media team recently posted a video of Montell and Kai, captioned: "Actual footage of Kai auditioning to be Montell's partner.". The duo were seen taking part in the viral 'I Love Your Daughter' TikTok trend, which gained popularity after a scene from Gilmore Girls was turned into a trend. However, it was Kai who stole the show, with fans quick to shower him with compliments, reports Manchester Evening News.
