It's January, and it's felt like the longest month ever. So when one woman spotted a seriously exciting treat in her local Tesco, she was absolutely thrilled to bits and had to share it with others so they could get some for themselves, too. But what was it that had TikToker Erin so excited? In the six-second clip, she showed off 1kg bags of Mini Eggs, joking: "Life is worth living" because of the Easter treat.

Some people were mortified that they were there so early, though, and other TikTokers were appalled at the price the supermarket was charging for them. A small bag retailed for £4.85, and the 1kg bag would set you back £14, which left some people horrified. "£1.40 for 100g of Mini Eggs is diabolical," someone fumed.

Another added: "£14 is crazy, but no one is talking about how the regular bag is £5". "It was £9 a few years ago," one TikToker raged. Someone boasted that they didn't have to pay for them, penning: "£14 though – my dad can get them free because he’s a lorry driver and delivers to the Mini Eggs factory, so they just give him a few bags lol.".

"I refuse to buy them because I'd literally eat the whole lot and then hate myself," one woman joked. Meanwhile, someone else seethed: "I beg your finest pardon - £14?!?!?!". Others said it was "too early" to be thinking about Easter, as it's not until Sunday, April 20. One said: "Can you please just give us a small break?".
