Netflix has left fans of a legal drama massively relieved after confirming it would return for another season. The first season of The Lincoln Lawyer was based on Michael Connelly’s 2008 novel The Brass Verdict and was released in 2022. The show stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, a defence attorney based in Los Angeles who often works out of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln Navigator rather than an office.
A remake of the 2011 Matthew McConaughey film of the same name, other cast members include Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Yaya DaCosta. The series picked up plenty of fans when it premiered, with many sharing their reviews online.
‘Addicting and edge of the seat drama. Easy to get hooked and quite likely to finish watching in a single day,’ Venkat posted on Rotten Tomatoes. ‘A great show. It took a few episodes to catch me, but once it did I was hooked,’ Glenn shared. ‘Loved the characters and all the twists and turns this show took!’ Dianne added.
Since then, another two seasons have followed. However, after watching the most recent episodes, fans were on edge about the future of the show. ‘Netflix if you don’t renew The Lincoln Lawyer for another season I will revolt,’ Mai posted on X. However, this week the streaming service announced season 4 was going ahead after the last cliffhanger ending.
