Third time around for the UK version of The Traitors and it is like this group have never encountered the game before, so wrong are they getting it. But there is something about seeing them flounder, turning the whole experience into a mad guessing game, that is so delicious to watch.

Tonight the show reaches its halfway point and so far they have seen seven Faithful exit the castle compared with just one Traitor (soon to be eight when either Fozia, Anna or Livi gets murdered later). At times, it's been a tougher watch this series, with more tears and emotional outbursts from the players than ever before.

Poor Elen wept buckets as she was given the boot, while Freddie was inconsolable after finding himself fully in the firing line earlier this week and ditto Maia after finding out her sister Armani was indeed a Traitor. Last night it was Livi’s turn to go to pieces, first when Freddie gave her some of her own treatment on the Traitor-theory front - which she didn’t much like - and then after unsuspecting Tyler got the boot. Their lack of loyalty to those they have previously trusted is staggering. Some viewers are so shocked by how the Faithful are turning on each other they are now actively supporting a win for the Traitors.

The worst example of this was surely with poor Kas, who was so unfairly mistrusted that by the end he felt totally isolated. "I can't play the game, most people are avoiding me completely,” the doctor sighed, leading viewers to rise up in outrage over the “bullying” they were witnessing.
