The first episode of The Traitors series three, has been watched by over 10m viewers to date. The latest series of the BBC show saw 2.2m 16-34 year olds tuning in, breaking its own record for most viewed episode of the programme. This makes the third series debut of The Traitors the biggest BBC unscripted episode since the first episode of Planet Earth III and the biggest BBC audience for an Entertainment programme since the 2023 Eurovision Grand Final.

It also had the biggest on demand audience for an unscripted show since at least 2022 (when the new BARB audience measurement system began). In addition, Episodes 2 and 3 have been watched by over 9m each so far. Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC said: 'Series 3 of The Traitors has brought together an overwhelmingly faithful and growing audience, with more viewers being recruited for that appointment to view watching, already at 10m watching episode 1 so far.
