In a video on TikTok, a professional tattoo artist named Tamsin highlighted the areas that she will never agree to tattoo – and revealed the one rule she has that strangers have to follow but friends don't.
The artist next said she isn't interested in learning how to correctly tattoo palms or the soles of feet, so she'll turn people away who want ink in those areas.
As one tattoo artist recently pointed out in a viral video, not all artists are happy putting ink on any part of the body, and they all have their limitations – which helps keep both you and them safe.
She said fine-line tattoos on these areas usually need "endless touch-ups" to keep the design looking pristine, so she would instead recommend finding an artist that "hand pokes their work" as it will "heal so much better".
