The winners of The Traitors series three have revealed they are yet to receive their huge prize fund. Viewers watched on as a highly dramatic final night of the hit BBC show saw Faithfuls Leanne and Jake take the win. They were thrilled to split a staggering £94,600 between the pair. But despite the show finishing last month - and filming taking place last summer - the duo have confirmed they are yet to receive their payment. "We haven’t spent any of the prize money, none of it has gone yet," they revealed to the Mirror.
The pair also confirmed they have since apologised to fan favourites Alexander and Frankie. "We apologised to Frankie and Alexander straight away for voting them out," they added. "We want Alexander to find a nice wife, everyone loves him.". Speaking of their newfound fame, Jake revealed it hasn't been the easiest to get used to. Touching on the fact his relationship has recently been revealed, he said: "It can be tough everyone knowing who you are and being so involved but I’m getting used to it every day. Our partners get on great, we’re going to have a double date.".
Fans were gripped by the final of the series last month. Out of the final five, Charlotte was the only Traitor left. However, she was banished at the roundtable after the Seer twist. The twist then saw Frankie revealed as the Seer after winning the challenge, meaning she had the power to find out any player's identity. She chose Charlotte who ended up being a Traitor. While it was unsure whether the players would believe her because of Charlotte’s clever ways, they ended up siding with her. However, unfortunately for Frankie, Charlotte's claims that Frankie was lying and the fact that her identity wasn't revealed at the final roundtable saw Leanne and Jake struggle to believe she was a Faithful, leaving to her banishment at the final endgame hurdle.
The Seer twist was the first of its kind for the latest series. While some fans loved the drama, others weren’t enamoured. On X, formerly known as Twitter on user admitted: "I love it, but I don't know if I agree with The Seer, as it undoes all the traitors' hard work in an instant.". Like this story?
