Tina Malone has revealed the heartbreaking way she will spend this year's Christmas following the tragic death of her late husband Paul. The Shameless star's husband Paul, 42, died by suicide on March 13 after what the soap star has now confirmed was a long struggle with his mental health, specifically Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

And the actress has confessed she will pay tribute to Paul by playing his favourite songs and wearing matching pyjamas with their daughter over the festive period. Speaking to Closer magazine, the former Celebrity Big Brother star described her loss as 'insurmountable' and admitted she will never recover from it.

She explained: 'We will raise a glass for him at Christmas lunch and talk about him around the table. We'll play his favourite music and share our favourite stories. 'The loss and the sorrow of losing Paul is insurmountable, I will never, ever get over it.'.

The pair share a daughter together, Flame, 11, and Tina confessed she is trying to be 'strong' for her child. She added: 'But I have to be strong and resilient for Flame. All the 'firsts' are difficult. Christmas will be hard, but I will make it magical and special for her.'.
