Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been branded 'America's very own royal couple' ever since they became an item in 2023. Not only does he attend her concerts to support her, she also shows up at his football games to cheer the 35-year-old on from the sidelines. The couple have been reasonably happy to talk about their romance - with Travis occasionally talking about his girlfriend on his podcast, New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, 37.
And Taylor, 35, has also declared her love for Travis while on stage and collecting awards. Earlier this week, during a Super Bowl conference, he gushed about their relationship as he praised her 'unbelievable' cooking skills, revealing she treats him to 'homemade pop-tarts' for breakfast. However, before getting into a relationship with the award-winning superstar, he had a series of relationships with the likes of Maya Benberry, Kayla Nicole and Zuri Hall.
In 2016, Travis had a brief relationship with Maya Benberry. The Kansas City Chiefs star met his ex-girlfriend during E!'s reality TV programme, Catching Kelce, which saw him get to know 50 women who were hoping to date him. It was Kentucky's very own Maya who won his heart by the final. "I love your confidence, but at times it does get overconfident," The NFL star told the finalist at the time, as reported by the US Sun. "It kind of shows arrogance. I have been attracted to women like that my entire life, and those relationships didn't work because of that.
"I don't want that anymore. I feel like I came into this idea, this experience, this show because I needed that change in my life, and Veronica is that change.... But even though my mind's telling me one thing, I got to go with my heart." The show may have been a hit, but Travis wasn't a big fan of taking part in it. He admitted it was 'extremely awkward' and confessed he agreed to the show as he spent his NFL paychecks quickly after entering the league. Soon after his short-lived romance with Travis ended, Maya accused the football star of cheating on her.
Not long after Maya and Travis' breakup, he met sports reporter and fitness enthusiast Kayla Nicole - with who he entered a five-year relationship. Their romance started after the football star liked all her photos on Instagram, with him admitting: "I was just stalking her and then finally on New Year's, she gave in. "And, you know, New Year, new me. She just shot her shot, jumped in my DMs and the rest is history," he revealed in 2022. Not only did Kayla work for the NBA and BET, but she also pursuied a career in modelling. The model gained 813,000 followers on Instagram and became an ambassador for Revolve, Savage X Fenty and more.
The couple went public with their relationship in May 2017 after they attended former Chiefs star Jeremy Maclin's wedding. Everything was smooth sailing until rumours emerged he cheated on her when the duo broke up for the first time in 2020. He immediately took to social media to deny the claims. "This is fake news… a lie… and not why Kayla and I broke up," he said. "Take all your hatred somewhere else please." A few months later, they got back together but their romance was short-lived as they broke up for good in May 2022.
Travis started hitting headlines again after his breakup from Kayla as rumours circulated about a potential relationship with Access Hollywood correspondent Zuri Hall. It began when she was pictured in his family suite at a football game in October and it didn't help that neither stars confirmed their relationship status at the time. It took until 2024 for Zuri to come out and shut down the rumours. She said to Page Six during the Cannes Lions Festival: "I laugh that stuff off, particularly when rumours aren't true.".
