Patrick Schwarzenegger continues to prove a talking point as character Saxon Ratliff in the latest series of The White Lotus. The 31-year-old actor and son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver raised eyebrows in the third series of the Emmy award-winning destination thriller when he described his sister Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) as “hot” along with strange interactions with other females at the resort.
Things took an even stranger turn when his younger brother Lochlan (Sam Nivola) was seen longingly staring at Saxon's nude body when he went into the bathroom to pleasure himself. It appears fans had better buckle up as Schwarzenegger’s onscreen creepy antics looks set to continue.
In episode 2 of the show, which airs on Sky Atlantic in the UK, Saxon received a massage at the resort and was visibly aroused, while Lochlan was also seen staring at his brother's bare behind as he slept. Piper was also left less than impressed when Lochlan told her that Saxon had been speculating that she was still a virgin.
Many flocked to social media to share their growing “disgust” for the character and the way that the seemingly incestuous storyline is progressing. “Hate Saxon on White Lotus so bad immeadiately picked up those creepy incest vibes,” penned one person.
“Everything Saxon does disgusts me”, agreed another with a third concurring: “Saxon is the grossest person ever. “Can someone just kill Saxon already? I can’t with another erection scene,” bemoaned a fourth. Schwarzenegger has defended his character, admitting that while the relationship between the brothers is “very odd and weird”, it is “very loving at the same time”.
