Who is October Gonzalez? The woman co-parenting with Lauren Sanchez and her ex-NFL star boyfriend

It's no secret that Lauren Sanchez is on friendly terms with her ex-boyfriend's current partner October Gonzalez, as the pair are often seen socializing with one another on a regular basis. Not only has Lauren been on vacation with her former partner Tony Gonzalez and October, she regularly attends events with the 44-year-old and they even spent Thanksgiving together last year. On Wednesday, Lauren, 55, reposted October's latest Instagram post after she paid tribute to son Nikko on his 24th birthday.

October shared several snaps of Nikko, including one of him as a youngster with two of her children, whom she shares with former NFL player Tony, 48. She captioned the post: 'Happiest of Birthdays Nikko! It has been and continues to be an absolute gift to watch you grow. I love you so much,' and Lauren was quick to reshare it with a white heart emoji. October has certainly helped co-parent Nikko for a large part of his life, as she and Tony will celebrate their 19th anniversary this summer.

The brunette beauty was just 21 years old when she met her beau in 2002 whilst working as a cocktail waitress at a bar in Newport Beach, California. It's been beautiful and brutal and fantastically adventurous and even heartbreaking. 'You hold me up when I need to fall apart and sometimes I have to remind you of the star you truly are. And so we ebb and we flow we wilt and we grow. And somehow I love you more now than I did before.

'Happy Anniversary TG. Let's keep this good thing going,' she added. However, October's life hasn't always been so settled and in a 2020 appearance on Tony's podcast, she candidly opened up about her childhood with her mother and famous singer father Pat Vegas. October attended West Brook Senior High School and was just 15 when her mother sadly died from a drug overdose. 'It was chaotic, I had parents who were rock stars,' October said of her younger years. 'They were just hard partiers my whole life, and my mom got caught up really young.

'It escalated to heroin eventually, so a lot of my childhood was kind of mothering my mother, mothering my sisters and having to grow up really fast.'. 'I have a great relationship with now, really because of you because you've encouraged me to get closer with my family and forgive,' she explained. Since being in a relationship with former sportsman Tony, October has ventured into the world of television and in 2009 she featured in an episode of E!'s True Hollywood Story about footballer's wives. She then rose to fame as a DJ on the FOX game show series Beat Shazam, and is also recognized for having co-hosted Rachael Ray several times between 2014 and 2016.

In 2019, October also enjoyed a brief role in the much-loved TV sitcom Modern Family. October and Tony have two children together, Malia, 16, and River, 14, while his ex Lauren also has two other kids - named Evan, 18, and Ella, 17, - with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell. Tony and Lauren - who is now engaged to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos - separated shortly after Nikko's birth in February 2001 but their split was amicable and they've generally remained on good terms.

Speaking about co-parenting with Tony and October during a 2023 interview with Wall Street Journal, Lauren said: 'My greatest example is the relationship I have with my eldest son's father, Tony. 'I learned how to co-parent with him, so I have more experience than Jeff might have. Tony and his wife Tobie are my best friends.'. October has two children with Tony - a 14-year-old son named River and 16-year-old daughter Malia.

Lauren previously said that she is 'so proud' of how she co-parents with Tony and his partner October. Shen then revealed: 'It wasn't always that way. There was friction [at the beginning]. But Tony and Tobie were at Thanksgiving with us [this year], and we're really good friends.'. When asked how long it took to get to that stage with Tony and October, Lauren admitted: 'That took about five years, but we always communicated.
