While some may love the act of sitting down to wrap Christmas presents, others might find it's a big hassle. Especially as you get to the last few presents and the paper is running low. At the end, most of us will be left with different patterns of wrapping paper that's too small or awkwardly shaped to be able to wrap a present. But luckily, there's a way you can make use of these scraps.

A TikTok user named Nikki, also known online as the Wrappin Queen, has gained over 392,600 followers on the platform by sharing videos on how to best wrap different kinds of presents, as well as some hacks for improving your wrapping skills. In a video published on 13 December, she shared the ultimate hack on how to get the most out of your rolls of wrapping paper by simply using the scraps.

While wrapping a square shaped box, which in this case were for a pair of Apple headphones, she used one four scraps of different patterned wrapping paper in order to create a unique looking present. For this, all you need to recreate it is four pieces of scrap wrapping paper and some tape - Nikki used double-sided tape, but normal tape works just as well.

Nikkie first took one piece of wrapping paper that she had cut into the shape of a rectangle, just big enough to cover half of the front and half of the back of the box. Then, she used double sided tape on each side of the paper and folded the side as you would with any other present. Next, she used a second piece of wrapping paper with a different pattern.
