Ferrero Rocher has been on our supermarket shelves for over 40 years. The chocolate, developed by the Italian company Ferrero, is sweet, nutty and delicious. Each Ferrero Rocher ball is famously covered with foil and placed into a paper liner. How the little balls of joy get made is top secret, but it appears there may have also been another secret under wraps. Even though we've been tucking into the sweet treats for years, it seems we may have been opening them wrong our whole lives.

According to a video shared by lalifehacks on TikTok, many of us have been missing a trick. It seems the little sticker is placed on top of the choccies for a special reason. According to the hack expert, you don't have to unwrap the chocolates from the bottom. Instead, you can easily tear them open from the top - just like peeling an orange.

In the video, the presenter shows that you simply use the brand's sticker on the top of the chocolate to open the foil. It then easily tears apart down the sides, so you can open it up neatly. By using this method, you're able to use the paper case to lift the chocolate to your mouth and eat it politely. Apparently, this is the way you should be eating your Rochers.

It left many social media users stunned, with one admitting it was the "first" time they'd ever heard of the method. The little sticker is about more than just advertising the brand name, as it actually seems to have a useful little purpose. Other videos showing off the hack have also been shared online, and people were quick to share their thoughts on it. It definitely provoked mixed reactions.
