Yellowstone enthusiasts are on the edge of their seats for the drop of 1923's second season after a two-year break. Fans are especially curious to see if Spencer Dutton, played by Brandon Sklenar, and his love interest Alex, portrayed by Julia Schlaepfer, will finally be together again. A major concern is whether Spencer can make it back to Montana in time to save his family and their treasured ranch from peril. It has been confirmed that season two will be the final chapter, with Isabel May, the voice behind 1883, returning as the narrator.
A trailer that hit the internet in January shows villain Donald Whitfield, acted by Timothy Dalton, revealing his ill intentions for the ranch. Cara Dutton, played by the legendary Helen Mirren, witnesses the risk of losing her husband’s legacy when Donald threatens that the deed would pass to him if land taxes aren't settled. He shares his vision of transforming the property into an exclusive retreat. With Spencer seen as a hurdle by their adversaries, there’s a plot brewing to eliminate him and his kin.
A shocking scene with a body being hurled over a cliff has got viewers speculating about the potential roots of the infamous Train Station from the original Yellowstone show. On Instagram, one observer exclaimed: "Did we just see the origins of the TRAIN STATION.". Another echoed with a query: "Did we see a glimpse of the train station?" These thoughts are further stirred as the next clip in the trailer features Banner Creighton, Jerome Flynn's character, giving the impression he was involved in the deadly act.
Yellowstone enthusiasts are aware that the Dutton family's adversaries are clueless about the Train Station and its whereabouts, making it unlikely for a rival to know. In response to an Instagram query about whether the Train Station had been hinted at, another fan responded: "I think we did [see it]". The Train Station is a secret location where the Duttons dispose of their victims' bodies. In the original series, Lloyd Pierce (Forrie J Smith) informs Walker (Ryan Bingham) that the Train Station is situated in Wyoming, just over the state border in "a county with no people, no sheriff and no 12 jurors of your peers".
