80s singer P. Fluid, 64, found 'beaten to death in pool of blood' in back of car Popular 80s singer P. Fluid, real name Peter Forrest, had been found dead aged 64.
Going by P. Fluid, Forrest was best known as a founding member of hardcore rock band 24/7 Spyz who made it their mission in the 80s to prove there were other genres outside of hip hop that black musicians could excel in.
Forrest was found ‘lying in a pool of blood’ in the back of a private ambulette in New York today.
When police responded to a 911 call they found Forrest unresponsive and unconscious.
One day after the discovery, Forrest’s death was ruled a homicide by police.
