Aerosmith are set to reunite for a special performance, just months after confirming their decision to stop touring. The I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing rockers left fans devastated when they announced their retirement from concerts, after Steven Tyler sustained damage to his vocal cords during their Peace Out tour in 2023.

After bassist Tom Hamilton hinted at a possible reunion, while sharing an update on the 76-year-old’s health, it has been claimed that the group will be appearing together next month. According to reports, they will be putting on a show at the frontman’s sixth annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party.

Billboard reports that Steven, Tom and Joe Perry are expected to perform at the charity event on February 2, held at the Hollywood Palladium. It is not clear whether Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford will be joining their bandmates at the bash. The event will support non-profit organization Janie’s Fund – which helps young women and girls who have suffered abuse – and will also help the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the Widows, Orphans, and Disabled Firefighter’s Fund, amid the ongoing wildfires.

‘What the Los Angeles community has endured with these wildfires is unthinkable,’ Steven said. ‘Music has healing powers and we hope to bring a moment of joy and levity to our first-responder firefighters and those most affected by the fires. ‘The trauma experienced by the girls we work with is also unthinkable and we will continue to shed light and support the amazing work of Janie’s Fund.’.
