Amazon Prime Video viewers are being urged to binge-watch a ‘spectacular’ Spanish crime drama. TV fans have up to 30 days to stream Caronte before it leaves the streaming platform in the UK. The show centres on Madrid police officer Samuel Caronte (Roberto Álamo) who is wrongly convicted for a crime he did not commit. After leaving prison armed with a new law qualification, he teams up with Marta Pelayo (Miriam Giovanelli) to represent those who don’t have access to decent legal defence.

On Google, users have been raving about the ‘unmissable’ Caronte, which ran for one season in 2020. Among them is Patty Kao, who enthused: ‘Excellent, unmissable! The actor who plays Charon does it super well! Totally recommended, don’t miss seeing it!’. Luis Amaro said: ‘The series is phenomenal. The performance of Raul Tejón, Marta Larralde [were] all great.’. Echoing their sentiment, Mariadolores Pardo Garcia: ‘I saw it a month ago and it shocked me. I love it. I hope there are more seasons.’.

Mary Camacho also added: ‘Spectacular is a great series and its performances are wonderful.’. Caronte is not the only crime drama that has gripped Amazon Prime Video viewers in recent weeks. They are gobsmacked that ‘no one is talking’ about Animal Kingdom, a show the claim ‘blows Peaky Blinders out of the water.’. It even stars an actor from the BBC show Finn Cole, 29, who played gangster Michael Gray.

First aired in 2016, the thriller follows Finn’s character Joshua ‘J’ Cody who moves in with his estranged relatives, the Codys, who run a criminal family enterprise in California, after the death of his mother. On Reddit, Turbulent-Truth-4059 urged: ‘How is no one talking about how good ANIMAL KINGDOM IS🔥🔥🔥 watch it.’. Agreeing, FineJellyfish4321 raved: ‘Yes!!! I always recommend it and a lot of people don’t even know about it. I didn’t until last year but once I started I was absolutely hooked! That is hands down one of the best shows I’ve ever seen!’.

jwC731 added: ‘Highly underrated show imo.’. Amazon Prime fans have also been recommending drama The Rig for its ‘excellent storytelling’, ‘must-watch’ comedy Clean Slate and the ‘underrated’ thriller The Last Hour. I bought a house with my partner — but when we broke up, he refused to sell. What I Own: I quit London at 48 and bought my first home in Sussex for £325,000. I build 20ft tiny homes for homeless people (and they only cost £12,000).

Londoners are flocking to this ‘bustling’ neighbourhood 10 miles from the centre. London's cheapest place to rent revealed — but it might not be for long. Caronte is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Got a story?.
