Ange Postecoglou has provided an update on Dominic Solanke's condition following his recent injury. After picking up a knee issue in training Tottenham's £65million summer signing missed the club's defeat against Everton last weekend. The England international was also not included in the matchday squad as Spurs secured three points against Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday.

Solanke's absence fuelled fears that he may be the latest casualty in what has already been an injury-stricken campaign for Postecoglou in his second season in north London. Speaking following Thursday's clash the Australian admitted he will be without the striker for the coming weeks.

Solanke has netted seven Premier League goals since joining Spurs from Bournemouth. Solanke will also be unavailable for selection as Spurs look to defend their one-goal lead in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool on February 6.
