Anna Maynard has insisted she is 'strong and has thick skin' as she opened up about online trolling. The CBBC presenter, 24, has been in the spotlight since she was 17-years-old and is the younger sister of singer Conor Maynard and YouTube star Jack Maynard.
Anna revealed that online abuse 'isn't new to her' and she is in 'control' of her social media accounts and decides not to look at negative or upsetting content. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the Bohomoon event in London, Anna said: 'To be honest I think it’s something I’ve always known, I’ve done this [been in the public eye] since I was 17 and it’s not new to me.
'But any hate or trolling I receive I’m in control of my account and I can do what I want and if things are affecting me I can delete it or not look at it. 'You don’t have to spend your days looking at things that upset you. I’m pretty strong and have thick skin so nothing really affects me too much.'.
