Singer Anne Marie has spoke out for the first time since Slowthai was cleared of raping two fans. Anne-Marie had stood by her husband's side as he faced court over the allegations from an alleged incident in September 2021. The Grammy-nominated rapper - whose real name is Tyron Frampton - was cleared of any wrong-doing earlier this month.

Now, Anne-Marie, 33, has shared a number of images to social media, including some alongside her rapper husband. She described this year as her "hardest year" on Instagram. She wrote: "2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives. God really tryina see how strong I am hahaha. I miss you all and I love you all more than you’ll ever know. I have SO MUCH for you in the new year that you’ll probably be sick of me (please don’t be) have the best break if you can and see you soon.".

Among the images was a polaroid of Anne Marie pregnant. The post had been liked by thousands of her followers, including fellow singers Jessie J and former Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall. On December 16, Slowthai was cleared in Oxford Crown Court as jurors came back after more than ten hours of deliberation. His co-accused Alex Blake-Walker, 27, was also cleared of one count of sexual assault. The jury returned their verdicts following a two-week trial during which it was alleged the two defendants assaulted two women in the early hours of September 8, 2021.
