Singer-songwriter Anne-Marie is no stranger to keeping her private life private, but her husband, Slowthai's recent rape trial, has put their romance directly in the spotlight with his recent rape trial. After surprising fans with the announcement earlier this year that she had secretly wed the rapper, whose real name is Tyron Frampton, in 2022, the Friends singer then revealed just days later that they had welcomed their first child together. While the time was meant to be filled with parenting bliss, it instead came with struggles as Frampton was facing the possibility of criminal charges for three counts of rape.
This morning, however, after more than 10 hours of deliberations, the Oxford Crown Court ruled that the Grammy-nominated star was cleared of the charges related to alleged incidents said to have occurred on September 8, 2021. It's unclear when exactly the two musicians first met or began dating; however, it's thought to be around mid-2022, as Frampton was engaged to and has one child with model Katya Kischuk before they split early that year. The first time Anne-Marie was spotted with her beau occurred in May 2022, when The Mirror photographed the two stars outside Ronnie Scott's jazz club, the same night that John Legend had been performing an intimate concert at the venue. The interaction made headlines as Frampton was seen getting into a disagreement with the club's security guard, quickly getting into a taxi, and speeding off with Anne-Marie.
