ARSENAL remain on course for automatic qualification to the last 16 of the Champions League thanks to a routine win over Dinamo Zagreb. A win over the Croatian champions at the Emirates saw the Gunners pick up their fifth win of the revamped competition.

A second-minute strike from Declan Rice, who was later targeted by Zagreb louts, saw Mikel Arteta's troops move up into third place in the 36-team table. Kai Havertz made sure of the victory with a 66th minute header following a beautiful ball into the box from Gabriel Martinelli.

And skipper Martin Odegaard struck in extra time to put a bow on a routine victory. The north Londoners will avoid a two-legged play-off for a last-16 spot if they avoid defeat away to La Liga side Girona next Wednesday. THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY..
