Arsenal are set to be offered the opportunity to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani in the January transfer window, according to reports. Bukayo Saka’s hamstring injury could force Arsenal to make a move in the upcoming window after Mikel Arteta ruled the winger out for ‘many weeks’.
Kolo Muani, meanwhile, has struggled to secure a regular role under Luis Enrique at PSG this season, starting just two games in all competitions so far. When asked about Kolo Muani’s situation at PSG earlier this month, Luis Enrique said: ‘I could speak about it but I won’t because my decisions say it all, even if as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed.’.
The 26-year-old was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt for €75m (£64.2m) plus €15m (£12.2m) in add-ons last year but may now push for an exit at PSG after being frozen out by Luis Enrique. According to The Standard, Arsenal are expected to be among the clubs who will be offered the chance to sign Kolo Muani on loan next month.
The report adds that Arsenal have yet to declare their interest in the France international. Last month, reports in France claimed that Manchester United had already held initial talks to sign Kolo Muani on a loan deal in January. Speaking during the international break in November, Kolo Muani made it clear that he wanted to fight for his place at PSG.
