Karina Irby, a Queensland-based body-positive influencer and businesswoman, was walking her 12-year-old chihuahua, named Billie, down by her local beach when a toddler began chasing and throwing sand and water at the pet.

Karina noted that the mum did apologise on behalf of her daughter for falling on the dog, but proceeded to chase the dog even after attempts to move away.
