A schoolgirl has been left scarred for life after a horror encounter with a dog branded an " XL Bully on steroids" that sank its teeth into her bottom and dragged her across the street. Kyah Matuszak, nine, was walking to meet her friends when a "giant dog" started running towards her from inside a neighbour's car. As the petrified youngster started running away, the seven stone pet launched itself at her and dragged her across the street, her mum Holly Matuszak said, before the owner managed to bring the dog back inside.
Ms Matuszak was shocked to discover her child's "ripped and bloodied" trousers, and she found her daughter had been left with a "perfect bite mark outline" on her lower back and bottom. Devastated Kyah had to receive several stitches to repair her "very extensive" wound, the mum said, and later required plastic surgery.
Taking to TikTok, the parent shared footage of her discussing the incident captioned "Cane Corso attack", which has now racked up three million views. In the clip, the 31-year-old can be heard saying "never assume your dog or pet is not capable", with owners of the originally Italian breed agreeing people don't understand "what they are truly capable of".
While Kyah's wounds have now scarred over and the dog has since been put down, Ms Matuszak said the nine-year-old has been left scared to go outside following the "nightmare" ordeal. Holly, a registered nurse from Perrysburg, Ohio, US, said: "It was a nightmare for her. It's terrible.
"She was outside meeting up with two of her friends who live around the corner from us. She was just walking down the sidewalk. The owners just came home. Someone from the car then opened the garage door that leads into the house. They opened that second garage door and the dog just ran outside from inside the house straight after my daughter.
