Rebecca Ferguson has revealed she was in talks to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The X Factor star appears to have been snubed by her native country and could instead represent other countries after she 'received offers'. The Liverpudlian singer, 38, who burst into the spotlight in 2010 with four top 10 albums, hinted to her followers that should could take to the stage in Basel Switzerland in May 2025.
During a like Q&A on TikTok, a fan asked Rebecca: 'Are you representing the UK at Eurovision?'. To which she replied: 'Well, I've got something to tell you… Do you know what? No one's messaged me… and I… no one's messaged me to do it, erm, but what's really interesting is I've had other offers from other countries to do Eurovision.
'And what they've said is, 'You can't do it on your own, but you can do it as a duet.'. Rebecca Ferguson has revealed she was in talks to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. 'So, it's a weird one for me because I've been offered Eurovision by other countries to sing with their artist. But then I'm patriotic to my own country.
'But then at the same time, I'm like, 'Well, my own country hasn't asked me.'. 'So, yeah… I've had offers to do Eurovision, but not for the UK. Which is sad if I end up doing it with another country.'. And her honest response sparked a frenzy of excitement from fans - with one stating: 'That's mad regarding Eurovision!'.
