Here are our 11 new faces for 2025. THIS London-born singer-songwriter, pictured above, has been championed by Lana Del Rey, who posted a TikTok of Iona covering one of her songs. She has been compared to Florence + The Machine, PJ Harvey and Tori Amos.

Her hero is Patti Smith and she is signed to the B-Unique record label. Iona is in her final year at Cambridge University, where she is studying English Literature. Her love of poetry fuels her creativity. She says: “I want to find an audience that connects to what I’m saying.”.

Her debut track Seventeen is out now and her single Violence will be released on January 17. THE Luton singer has a big year ahead, having already won the Brit Rising Star award which he will receive at the ceremony at the O2 Arena on March 1. Following in the footsteps of Sam Fender, James Bay and Adele, the 26-year-old triumphed over soul singer Elmiene and East London indie duo Good Neighbours.
