This may be related to several conflicts currently erupting across the globe with many regions sat on the edge of a conflict. But the 16th century physician took his prophecy one step further and wrote how the "lands of Europe" will be involved in "cruel wars".

He is also predicting "a decrease in the influence of established Western countries" as well as an "emergence of new world powers”. Appearing to speak about Europe and potentially the United Kingdom one of the Frenchman's passages said: "The kingdom will be marked by wars so cruel, foes from within and without will arise.".
