The 25-year-old actress, who captivated audiences with her stunning performance in Sean Baker’s Anora, is nominated for two BAFTA Film Awards this weekend, marking a major milestone in her rising career.
“I’m always happy to celebrate film and celebrate Anora, because I feel like it’s such a special character, and I had such a wonderful experience making the film.
Madison plays the titular character, a sex worker who impulsively marries a young Russian heir, only to find herself on the run when his powerful family intervenes.
“I think the experience I had on Anora was so wonderful and transformative that I'm looking always to kind of go deeper with that and something really that will challenge me.”.
