The latest episode of Antiques Road Trip was a real hoot, with experts Paul Laidlaw and Margie Cooper hitting the road in a vintage Morris Minor. The pair set off from Lincolnshire to North Yorkshire, all geared up for an auction battle in Harrogate. The air was thick with competitive banter throughout their journey as they traded quips.

BBC's very own Paul kicked things off, musing about local airfields and their wartime past, which led Margie to playfully chide: "Oh, don't. You're not going to start with all this war stuff! ". Paul didn't miss a beat, revealing his game plan with a twinkle in his eye: "My tactic is... but you won't. I'm sure this won't upset you. I will just be hovering behind ready to snatch. Is that the best you can do?".

Margie couldn't help but respond with mock indignation: "Don't you dare! Don't you dare.". The plot thickened when it turned out Paul was on the prowl for military collectibles, leaving Margie less than thrilled, reports the Express. Margie couldn't hide her amusement at Paul's fondness for military items, exclaiming: "Sniffing around! Oh no! Please! You're not still buying that old rubbish, are you?".

Her playful protests aside, the thrill of the hunt drove them as they scoured through four different antique centres. With a hint of mischief, Paul proposed: "Shall we divide and conquer? I'll just abandon you by the roadside!". During their undercover antique hunt, Margie couldn't resist commenting: "Oh, looks very good in here.," which prompted Paul to respond with mock horror: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Are you familiar with the concept of trespassing? I thought you were.".
