An Antiques Roadshow expert labelled a family heirloom as “scruffy” but still gave it a big price tag on the proviso that it would undergo a makeover.
Filming at Belfast’s Botanic Gardens, BBC expert Richard Price was on hand to value an “unusual example” of a French four glass clock but was quick to scrutinise the item.
“And you’ve said to me just now you thought the clock might be late 19th Century”, Price continued.
