A traitor from the hit TV series has been awarded a mock “Golden Cloak Award” and celebrated with a large billboard in central London. The BBC couldn't resist sharing a clip of the cheeky billboard, which celebrated The Traitors contestant Linda's escape from elimination with the "performance of a lifetime award" following Friday’s tense roundtable where she was a hair's breadth away from getting the boot. With fingers being pointed at both Traitor Linda and Faithful Dan, it was Dan who got the chop after fellow participants voted him out.

The billboard celebrating Linda shows her wearing a golden jacket and clutching an award shaped as a person wearing the iconic traitor’s hooded cloak, in a nod to the recent Golden Globe Awards. The PA news agency understands the black and bronze advert is a real image on the billboard plastered above the Vue cinema in Leicester Square. The video has gone viral on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday 11 January and has so far received more than 154,000 views and counting. The BBC also shared the same video on its Facebook page, bragging: "The Traitors’ Linda makes her billboard debut in prime position in Leicester Square".

During Friday's roundtable, questions were raised about why Traitor Linda had cried following Faithful Livi’s departure from the competition after she was ‘murdered’ by the traitors overnight. A number of faithful contestants correctly noted that it appeared like a cover-up as they did not feel Linda was that close to Livi.
