Bear Grylls outfit was very unusual for the Celebrity Bear Hunt premiere. The survival star donned a simple brown parka jacket over a black t-shirt, paired with a survival-style belt. He completed the look with dark grey pants and black shoes. Meanwhile, his co-presenter Holly Willoughby radiated glamour as she posed for the awaiting photographers in a plunging black gown, costing over £1,000. Her outfit featured sleek velvet detailing. Holly opted to complete her look with a pair of simple black heeled shoes to give her extra height for the night.

Celebrity Bear Hunt is an upcoming reality competition series set to premiere on Netflix on February 5, 2025. Hosted by Holly Willoughby, the show features twelve celebrities who venture into the Costa Rican jungle, where they become the targets of survival expert Bear Grylls. The contestants must navigate the challenging environment, complete various survival tasks, and evade capture by Grylls. The celebrity participants in Celebrity Bear Hunt include a diverse mix of personalities, such as Mel B, the former Spice Girls singer; Boris Becker, the retired tennis champion; and Steph McGovern, a renowned journalist and television presenter. Other notable stars include Shirley Ballas, the head judge of Strictly Come Dancing, Una Healy, a former member of The Saturdays, and Lottie Moss, a fashion model. The lineup also features actors like Joe Thomas, known for The Inbetweeners, and Kola Bokinni, recognized for his role in Ted Lasso.

This follows Bear's honest revelation about stepping out of his comfort zone while filming the series. Ahead of the new show, Bear appeared on BBC The One Show and host Roman Kemp couldn’t help but quiz the star on his fears while filming. He asked: “You come across so fearless. You’re pushing people out of their comfort zone so what is out of comfort zone for you?”. Bear admitted: "Lots of things. I actually really get nervous filming. Ireally don’t like the camera and from really early on in the TV shows we started making. When I first started it was like you were trying to get away from the camera because I was always behind it, on the move and running.”.

He continued: “No one is ever saying action and there is never a second take of anything. They just turn the camera on and they know I find it really hard but as long as I don’t really know and we are just doing it, it’s OK.”. Opening up more, he explained: “I find lots of things hard and life generally is scary but I have learnt the way to deal with the scary stuff is not to run from it, you’ve just got to face it.

"The more you do it, it becomes like a muscle inside and then you get better at it and I think it’s a comfort zone you have to get out of it fast and keep challenging.”. Like this story?
