Ben Affleck returns home to Pacific Palisades after his $20 million mansion survives deadly LA wildfire

Ben Affleck could breathe a sigh of relief after he returned home to find his home had survived the massive wildfires ripping through Los Angeles on Wednesday. The 52-year-old actor and filmmaker was spotted driving up to his mansion in LA's Pacific Palisades neighborhood, which has been devastated by the fast-moving blaze.
Despite his decision to return, the home appeared to still be in an evacuation area. Ben arrived home in a business-ready tan sport coat and a white dress shirt, as he had driven their from his office. The Argo star had been seen the night before as he arrived at home with a shocked expression on his face as flames were visible near his house, which he bought following his split from Jennifer Lopez.
He was subsequently forced to evacuate the $20.5 million home, but he focused on helping others by heading to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's home afterward to ferry her and their children to safety.
