Ben Affleck appears in shock as he drives through LA as wildfires rage near his home

Ben Affleck looked shocked as he solemnly left his LA office and drove home amid the city’s terrifying wildfires. The 52-year-old star sat with his left arm hanging out of his vehicle while transfixed on the road ahead, likely shaken by the plumes of smoke that were no doubt visible as he made his way through the City of Angels. The actor – who resides in celebrity enclave Pacific Palisades, an area of LA torn apart by wildfires – wore a white shirt and navy suit and kept his car window down despite the fumes.
Ben, who sported a full dark brown beard and a faded trim on his head, looked incredibly solemn as he made his way down Sunset Boulevard. His eyes, which were fixed on the road ahead, appeared slightly puffy. Ben and his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez have been personally impacted by the city’s wildfires, with an event for their film Unstoppable being called off due to the terrifying conditions. The film was released in UK cinemas on December 6, and tells the true story of Anthony Robles, who became a champion wrestler despite being born with only one leg. JLo plays Anthony’s mum, Judy Robles, in the film, which was co-produced by Ben.
A 7pm screening at the DGA Theater Complex in West Hollywood set to take place on Tuesday, but it was called off. Amazon MGM Studios confirmed: "As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority. We encourage everyone to watch Unstoppable on Prime Video, which will be available globally on January 16. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.".
