The mother of Bianca Censori has broken her silence after her daughter's nude appearance at the Grammy Awards over the weekend made headlines around the world. Bianca, 30, attended the annual awards ceremony in Los Angeles with her partner Kanye West, 47, on Sunday. She caused a storm when she dropped her coat in front of waiting photographers to reveal she was wearing nothing underneath but a totally sheer dress and no underwear. The stunt has caused a mass reaction with fans sharing their concern for Bianca's welfare.
Bianca's mother Alexandra Censori has now spoken out for the first time about the incident. Alexandra, in Bianca's home country of Australia, told the Daily Mail Australia: "We are just normal people, living our own lives as privately as we can. I have nothing to say about Bianca, thank you.". It was just days ago that Bianca sparked headlines over her attendance at the Grammys – which was being held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. She was seen on the red carpet in a black coat and a pair of heels, before removing the outerwear to reveal her outfit underneath. Kanye – known as Ye – was by her side wearing a black T-shirt, matching trousers and footwear.
Bianca – who it was reported on Tuesday will not face any legal repercussions for her see-through outfit – has sparked concern and criticism over her red carpet look. It's been suggested that she may have been replicating the album cover of Kanye's album Vultures, released last year, with her controversial look. There's also been speculation that it was a publicity stunt for the couple. As previously reported, Kayne posted amid interest in the situation: "For clarity February 4th 2025 My wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth." He's also promoted an outfit seemingly worn by Bianca at a Grammys afterparty. Bianca and Kanye were seen at the afterparty together, where they were photographed on the dancefloor, after leaving the red carpet. Bianca was photographed there in a sheer black bodysuit, rather than her outfit from the red carpet.
Kanye has since announced the launch of a womenswear collection for his brand Yeezy and his partner's bodysuit from the afterparty appears to be the first item on sale. He unveiled the "first women's piece" in a post on Instagram, sharing photos of a black thong bodysuit. It's the latest piece of clothing released by his brand, which has hoodies, t-shirts, socks and other items listed on its website. The bodysuit – referred to as BD-01 – is currently priced at £17.00 and is offered in three sizes.
